Solar Glass
Partnering with world leading manufacturers of transparent photovoltaic (PV) glass, our team can design building-integrated PV replacing conventional building materials that would typically make up roofs, skylights, facades, and windows to efficiently generate power. The glass panels can additionally be installed or retrofitted on a wide variety of existing buildings and facilities, enhancing structures both from an aesthetic and energetic point of view.
The panels are made of layers of heat-treated safety glass which can provide the same thermal and sound insulation as conventional architectural glass whilst maintaining natural light to go through in the same way as conventional glass.
Light Weight Solar
With a large amount of commercial and industrial roofs lacking or not meeting the minimum load capacity to support conventional modules, this limits any opportunity to maximise on generation and energy savings, for buildings falling under this threshold. Additional structural surveying, engineering and strengthening is not only costly but disruptive to on-site business activities.
With light weight, glass-free flexible solar panels which are approximately 70 percent lighter than standard solar panels QuadSol can design, engineer and develop a bespoke solution for rooftops, carports, and shelters which either don’t have the minimum load capacity to support conventional glass solar modules or have curved angles.
